In addition to her legal practice, Ekaterina has over a decade of experience developing and teaching original courses at universities. She is an Associate Professor at ITMO University in St. Petersburg and a visiting lecturer at various universities across Europe. Ekaterina has developed and taught over 30 academic programs and professional courses on the legal and practical aspects of the art market and creative industries.

Ekaterina pursues an active research agenda focused on the evolving relationship between law, art, and business.
Her current research interests include:

  • International art market development and regulation

  • Censorship in art

  • Intellectual property restrictions in culture

As part of her public outreach, Ekaterina regularly delivers lectures on significant legal cases in the field of art law.
